Sorry guys... i haven't updated in a long time. On Friday the 13th (ooh scary :p) we had an excursion to the Civic Distric. When we arrived, we saw a statue of an elephant given by the King of Siam (Thailand's name a long time ago). Then we saw the New and Old Parliament buildings (there is a new one as the old one is too small; the old parliament building is going to be an art gallery). We saw another building then we crossed a bridge built to open to allow ships to pass through and carriages and carts to cross. Unfortunately, the bridge couldn't open and ships thus have to wait until low tide to pass through. We saw some statues (a guy - I don't remember who - sitting down, men loading stuff onto a cart being pulled by a bull, and a fat bird with a fat but :p). We went to McDonalds and had a break, when we finished we passed over the bridge to the other side and we could see the IR (integrated resort) and the Singapore Flyer (which my parents STILL haven't brought me to!). We also saw a memorial and went thru the underpass; saw the Padang (flat field where events are held) and went back to school. I had noodles for dinner and at 10pm I played card games with Dad (jin, slapjack etc.) Ceci :P i'll update on Saturday l8r (and i will upload pics l8r too!)
